    How To Remove Paint From Tiles Home Remedies

    1. Mix a solution of vinegar and water

    Mixing a solution of vinegar and water is the most effective way to remove paint from tiles. It will help you in removing the stain from your tile. You can mix one cup of white vinegar with two cups of warm water. You can use it to scrub the paint stains on your tiles.     • Mix equal portions of vinegar and water in a bowl, stir it well, and then apply it to the stain with a brush or using paper towels.
    • Leave the mixture on the stain for 15 minutes before washing it off with warm water.
    • If you want to remove stubborn paint, use a scrub brush or sponge and mix 1-2 tablespoons of vinegar with ½ cup of warm water in a bowl. Apply this mixture to the stained area with a brush or by using paper towels and leave it there for at least 15 minutes before washing it off with warm water.
    • If you have stubborn stains, mix some dish soap in 1 cup of warm water and add 2-3 tablespoons of vinegar while stirring well so that they become mixed together easily; pour this mixture over the stained area using paper towels or a washcloth to absorb all the excess liquid from the stain as soon as possible before washing them off with warm water.
    • If you have stubborn paint stains, mix equal amounts of baking soda and vinegar in a bowl and apply this mixture over them until they are completely covered; let them sit for about 10-15 minutes before rinsing them off completely with lukewarm water.

    Baking Soda and Salt

    1. Mix a few teaspoons of baking soda and salt in a bowl. You can also use white vinegar instead of baking soda.
    2. Apply the mixture to the stained area and leave it for a few hours.
    3. Rinse off the mixture thoroughly with cold water to remove all of it from your tiles.
    4. Apply an old toothbrush to remove all of the leftover stains from your tiles.
    5. If you have left the mixture for a longer period of time, use a soft cloth to wipe off the stains.

    Paint can be removed from tiles but it is a much different process to that of wallpapers.
