Photo Memories

“What do you think about each other?”

“She’s cool.”

“I think she is alright. You’re like a 7 out of 10.”

“I’m part of the midnight run. I went to my site this week and got to meet a lot of new people and I got to know a few more Marquette students really well. That’s one of the highlights of my week.”

“I want people to know that I’m more outgoing than it seems.”

“What’s the best prank you’ve ever pulled?”

“I put Vaseline on my RA’s door handle for April Fools Day.”

“Me and my roommate took barbecue sauce and spread it all over my neighbor’s balcony.”

“What is your favorite thing to do on Marquette’s campus?”

“On the nights when I can’t sleep I go for runs at 1 or 2 in the morning.  I run from Marquette to the lake or even to the East Side.”

“What would you tell to your 10-year-old self?”

“Just keep having fun and live everyday, like it’s the best ever. Cause you would never know what’s gonna happen the next day.”

“What is your favorite bar around Milwaukee/Marquette?”

“How about…let me see….Red Rock.  Red Rock is a good time.”

“The Harp & Shamrock.”

“Do you have any big life plans or ultimate goals?”

“Just to live a happy life and put family and faith first before success or the highest goals of the world.”

“If you are from New York, why are you here?”

“I am visiting my friend who works in the Study Abroad program. We are going to a wedding in Nebraska.”

“How do you like Marquette’s campus so far?”

“It’s beautiful!  I have been here for 20 minutes and it’s beautiful.”

“When are you at your happiest?”

“I’m at my happiest right here, when I’m with my guitar, writing new music and exploring things that can make people smile.”

“What’s the most interesting thing you’ve ever seen while working at Schroeder?”

“OK so, there was this one girl who was pretty far gone last winter and grabbed snow and put it in a plastic bag to put on her ankle which she said was sprained. She walked in and then took a tumble right in front of the desk!”

“How did you two meet?”

“We met in China, we’re international students.”

“Why did you decide to come to Marquette?”

“Well thats a very long story, everyone comes here for a different reason.”

“What did you want to be when you were a kid?”

“I wanted to be a marine biologist at one point.”

“What about now?”

“Now I wanna be a photographer for National Geographic.”

“What poster are you buying and why?”

“I’m actually not even buying a poster, I’m just standing in line for a friend…but this is Kid Cudi.”

“How’d your interviews go?”

“Alright, they were easy.”

“Did you get the job?”

“Well the interviews were for professional mentors, but I think we’ll be alright.”

“What is your favorite place in Milwaukee or at Marquette so far?”

“My bed,” one said before proceeding to close his eyes as if sleeping.

“The Rave,” his friend said.

“What is your greatest fear?”

“Being unwanted. I find that once I grasp on to someone, I want them to stay for a long time and for them to want me to stay as well.”
