Sara J. Martinez graduated from Marquette University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a second major in Spanish Language, Literature and Culture. During her senior year at Marquette, Sara was the editor-in-chief of the student life magazine, The Marquette Journal, designed for the Marquee section of the Tribune and was the women's tennis beat reporter for The Marquette Tribune. During college, Sara held positions as sports and news copy editor at the Tribune as well as serving as copy chief of the newspaper when she was a sophomore.
